The short answer

NHTSA received Winnebago Industries, Inc’s report on Jul 6, 2016. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 19, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If carbon monoxide or LP gas enters the living quarters, it can increase the risk of illness or death to the occupants.

Winnebago Industries, Inc (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2017 Winnebago View, and Itasca Navion motor coaches manufactured November 16, 2015, to June 23, 2016.

In the affected vehicles, the grommet around the liquid propane (LP) line may not be properly sealed to prevent carbon monoxide and/or LP gas from entering the living quarters.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
