The short answer

NHTSA received KZRV, L.P.’s report on Jun 14, 2016. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 25, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the high temperature sensor fails to shut down the refrigerator, the refrigerator would overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

KZRV, L.P.

(KZRV) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Spree travel trailers manufactured March 13, 2015, to May 3, 2016.

The refrigerator vents on the affected trailers may be installed in an incorrect location, causing the refrigerator compartment to overheat, triggering the high temperature sensors to shut down the refrigerator.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
