Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
If the tire is inflated to the incorrect PSI on the label, the rims may suddenly fail due to being over pressurized, increasing the risk of a crash.
Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 FCCC XCR chassis manufactured May 12, 2014, to December 10, 2015.
The incomplete vehicle document (IVD) labels incorrectly list the tire pressures as 130 psi in the steer and tag axle positions rather than the correct rating of 120psi.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
