What’s wrong with it?
If the sway bar bolts loosen, the sway bar may detach from the axle, affecting the handling and increasing the risk of a crash.
Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 FCCC XBS, XCL, XCS, XCR and XCM motorhome chassis manufactured from March 10, 2015, through January 14, 2016 and equipped with Detroit front axles.
The front sway bar mounting brackets may not fit properly on the axle causing the mounting bolts to bend or loosen.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
