What’s wrong with it?
Without the TPMS, the driver would not be alerted one or more of the vehicle’s tires is under-inflated. An under-inflated tire may result in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Forest River, Inc.
(Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2015 and 2016 Rockport vehicles, models RPAF1466N, RPAF14FX and RPGSA92-12, manufactured from January 30, 2015, through February 24, 2015.
The affected vehicles may have been manufactured without a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 138, “Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
