What’s wrong with it?
If the hex nuts are not tightened to specification, the driveshaft may disconnect from the drive axle, resulting in a loss of propulsion and increasing the risk of a crash.
PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Peterbilt 365 and 367 vehicles manufactured from August 27, 2014, through June 5, 2015, and equipped with drive axles manufactured by Marmon-Herrington.
The affected axles have hex nuts on the flange yoke that may not have been properly tightened.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
