What’s wrong with it?
Brake drag may result in a wheel end fire.
Western Trailer Company (Western) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Chip B-Train trailers manufactured December 29, 2014, to February 26, 2015, equipped with certain Haldex Life Seal Type 30/30 Long Stroke Air Brake Actuators.
The affected vehicles may experience brake drag due to an improperly seated diaphragm in the brake chamber.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
