The short answer

NHTSA received Agility Fuel Systems’s report on Dec 13, 2016. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 20, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

Corrosion of the fuel hose may result in a compressed natural gas (CNG) leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, may increase the risk of a fire.

Agility Fuel Systems (Agility) is recalling certain Roofmount CNG Fuel Systems, EZ Pack Heil Tailgate CNG Fuel Systems, Side-Mount CNG Fuel Systems, and Heil Roofmount CNG Fuel Systems manufactured January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2014.

The affected fuel systems have flexible stainless steel, sleeved, high pressure hoses that may corrode from exposure to environmental conditions such as water mixed with road salt.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
