What’s wrong with it?
The reduced fuel flow may result in an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
TI Group Automotive Systems, LLC (TI Automotive) is recalling certain Precision-brand aftermarket and replacement equipment Fuel Pump Modules, model numbers TU200 and TU201, manufactured September 14, 2016, to October 25, 2016.
The affected fuel pumps have a pressure relief valve retainer cap that may move after the module is installed, causing a loss of fuel flow.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
