What’s wrong with it?
An affected television installed in a recreational vehicle may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people in the vehicle.
Haier America (Haier) is recalling certain 55” LED Televisions, model number 55E3500, manufactured September 1, 2015, to October 27, 2015, installed in fifth-wheel recreational vehicles.
The affected televisions have bottom brackets for mounting the televisions to wall mounts, and these bottom brackets may separate from the wall mounts when installed in recreational vehicles, causing the televisions to fall.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
