What’s wrong with it?
If the drain valve is left open, sewer gas may fill the recreational vehicle, increasing the risk of occupant injury.
Open Range R.V.
Company (Open Range) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 3X recreational trailers, model 388RKS, manufactured June 12, 2013, to May 1, 2014, and equipped with a side vented sewer drainage system termination valve.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
