The short answer

NHTSA received Tiny Idahomes LLC’s report on Dec 7, 2015. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 22, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

The overheating of the water may result in the release of steam, possibly causing the operator is to scald themselves and increasing the risk of injury.

Tiny Idahomes LLC (Tiny Idahomes) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Clear Creek and Cascade vehicles manufactured May 1, 2014, to December 1, 2015, and 2015-2016 Carpathian vehicles manufactured May 1, 2015, to December 1, 2015, and equipped with certain Atwood on demand water heaters.

The affected water heaters have a water and gas valve that may cause the water heater to overheat the water in the hot water supply tap.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
