What’s wrong with it?
The overheating of the water may result in the release of steam, possibly causing the operator is to scald themselves and increasing the risk of injury.
Columbia Northwest, Inc.
(Columbia) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Somerset E1 and Santa Fe recreational trailers manufactured November 1, 2012, to January 31, 2013, and equipped with Atwood on demand water heaters.
The water heaters have a water and gas valve that may cause the heater to overheat the water in the hot water supply tap.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
