What’s wrong with it?
The absence of an exit window may delay or prevent exit from the vehicle in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain model year 2016 King Aire vehicles manufactured March 9, 2015, to September 14, 2015.
The affected vehicles may have been manufactured without an emergency exit window over the driver’s side dinette table.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
