What’s wrong with it?
A passenger could be injured if their arm is caught in the door.
Nova Bus (Nova) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Nova LFS and 2013-2015 LFS Artic transit buses.
The affected vehicles are equipped with an optical sensor for the passenger counter system whose location may result in a passenger’s arm being pinched between the passenger counter housing and the door.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
