What’s wrong with it?
If the vehicle can be shifted into reverse without the brakes being applied, the vehicle may unintentionally move, increasing the risk of a crash.
Winnebago Industries, Inc (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Winnebago Brave, Sightseer, Vista and Adventurer motorhomes and Itasca Tribute, Sunova, Sunstar, and Suncruiser motorhomes manufactured from July 13, 2015, through October 6, 2015.
The affected vehicles, built on Ford chassis, can be shifted out of ‘PARK’ without applying the brakes, due to an incorrect shift cable bracket and an improper shift cable adjustment.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
