What’s wrong with it?
If the cable contacts the metal edge of the cab, it may cause an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire.
Forest River, Inc.
(Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Starcraft All Star XL, 2013 Starcraft All Star, and XLT transit buses manufactured October 17, 2012, to November 20, 2012.
The affected vehicles may have an improperly routed engine grid heater power feed cable which can result in the cable contacting the metal edge on the cab.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
