What’s wrong with it?
If the seat detaches from the floor during a vehicle crash, the seat occupant would be at an increased risk of personal injury.
Winnebago Industries, Inc.
(Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Metro Link transit buses manufactured December 20, 2013, to April 9, 2015.
The affected buses may have been built without shims and flat washers on the seat pedestal, allowing the seat to detach from the floor in the event of a crash.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
