What’s wrong with it?
If the trailer buckles, a loss of control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Jet Company, In.
(Jet Co) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 38, 40, and 42-foot Aluminum Grain Trailers, manufactured January 22, 2010 through November 30, 2011 and equipped with a 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion 2x5 top tube.
The top rail on the sides of the trailer may be too weak to prevent the trailer from buckling.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
