The short answer

NHTSA received Keystone RV Company’s report on Apr 7, 2015. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 27, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the wheel studs break, the wheel could detach from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Keystone Sprinter, Springdale, Bullet, Cougar, Hideout, and Passport trailers and 2015-2016 Dutchmen Aspen, Coleman, Denali, Razorback, Rubicon, and Voltage trailers.

For a full list of the specific models and floor plans affected, see RCLRPT-15V207-4161.PDF under “Associated Documents.” In the affected trailers, the studs that are used to attach the wheels to the axle hubs may break.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
