The short answer

NHTSA received KZRV, L.P.’s report on Mar 24, 2015. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 28, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the rivet shears causing the quad step to fail, the step user may fall, increasing the risk of personal injury.

KZRV, L.P.

(KZRV) is recalling certain model year 2015 KZ-RV Gold, Goldrush, Goldrush Klondike, and Prestige, 2014-2015 Goldrush Discovery, 2013-2015 Goldrush Nugget and 2012-2015 Stoneridge recreational vehicles manufactured May 27, 2011, to December 8, 2014.

In the affected vehicles, a rivet for the quad entry steps may shear and fail, causing the steps to give when being used.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
