What’s wrong with it?
If the fuse blows, the engine will stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.
(Kawasaki) is recalling certain model year 2009-2013 Kawasaki Concours 14 and 14ABS motorcycles manufactured May 8, 2008, to February 20, 2013, and modified for police authority use.
The additional police accessories may cause the 30-amp main fuse to blow.
Also, the additional police wiring harness may chafe leading to a short, which may blow the main fuse.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
