The short answer

NHTSA received Navistar, Inc.’s report on Feb 11, 2015. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 19, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the high pressure fuel line leaks, fuel may spray into the engine compartment, increasing the risk of a fire.

Navistar, Inc.

(Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 IC CE school buses manufactured October 3, 2013, to March 16, 2015.

In the affected school buses, the powertrain wiring harness may contact the high pressure fuel line for one of the fuel injectors, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
