Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
If the positive battery terminals contact the retention bracket, an electrical short would result, increasing the risk of a fire.
Grech Motors L.L.C.
(Grech) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 G40M2 shuttle buses built on Freightliner M2 truck chassis, manufactured August 26, 2013, to December 10, 2014.
In the affected vehicles, the batteries may not be installed in the correct position which could allow the positive battery terminals and clamps to contact the grounded battery retention bracket.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
