The short answer

NHTSA received Fleetline’s report on May 12, 2015. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 20, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the fender is not supported, it may contact the tires, and the fender may be torn from the vehicle, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

Fleetline is recalling certain Nu-Line and Fleetline Fender Brackets and Fender Kits with Fender Brackets, part numbers N230PMLH, N230PMRH, N230-19L, N230-19R, 1650-1, 1650-2, 1650-7 and 1650-8, manufactured January 1, 2015, to April 13, 2015.

Due to an insufficient weld, portions of the affected fender brackets may separate, causing the fender to not be properly supported.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
