What’s wrong with it?
Unexpected changes in steering effort may cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
Gillig LLC (Gillig) is recalling certain S26 Eaton-brand hydraulic pumps manufactured January 1, 2011, to November 1, 2014 that were sold through Gillig’s aftermarket parts department.
The affected hydraulic pumps may have manufacturing inconsistencies with the spool assembly which may result in unexpected changes in the steering effort.

- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
