Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.
Airtex Products, LP (Airtex) is recalling certain replacement equipment fuel pump modules, part numbers C8006, PF2032, and DW3950, manufactured May 21, 2012, to June 2, 2014, and sold on or after July 23, 2014, through January 28, 2015.
The affected fuel pumps have a flexible line that connects the fuel pump to an external fuel filter.
Due to an improper seal, the flexible line may leak fuel where it connects to the fuel filter.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
