What’s wrong with it?
An unsecured fuel tank strap could allow the fuel tank to contact the ground, increasing the risk of a fuel leak and fire.
Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Thomas Built Buses Minotour school buses manufactured April 2, 2012, to October 3, 2014, and built on a GM or Ford Chassis with a gasoline engine.
In the affected buses, the fastener that secures the fuel tank strap may be loose.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
