What’s wrong with it?

If the grab bar is pulled loose during use, it could increase the risk of personal injury.

Allied Recreational Group, Inc.

(ARG) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Fleetwood Bounder Classic recreational vehicles manufactured April 10, 2013, to August 7, 2014.

Due to insufficient structural reinforcement at the installation area, a grab bar can be pulled loose in the affected vehicles.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
