What’s wrong with it?
If the engine stalls unexpectedly there is an increased risk of a crash.
Navistar, Inc.
(Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2015 International Durastar vehicles manufactured May 9, 2014, to July 22, 2014, and 2015 IC Bus CE Commercial buses manufactured June 5, 2014, to June 6, 2014.
The Cummins ISB or ISL engines in these vehicles may have been equipped with Fleetguard UFF-XT fuel filters, part number FF63009, whose filter shell may separate from the fuel filter nut plate causing the engine to stall without warning.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
