The short answer

NHTSA received Jayco, Inc.’s report on Jul 31, 2014. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 21, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

Corrosion due to water infiltration could result in an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire.

Jayco, Inc.

(Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Seneca motorhomes, manufactured May 7, 2012, through February 12, 2014, and equipped with an entrance door that includes a TriMark Keyless Entry System.

Water infiltration into the back of the TriMark Keypad at the entrance door may cause corrosion on the electrical components of the keypad.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
