What’s wrong with it?
Without a warning to the operator that the motorcycle has low brake fluid and that the brakes may fail as a result, there is an increased risk of a crash.
Morgan 3 Wheeler Limited (Morgan) is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 3W motorcycles.
The affected motorcycles were manufactured without a lamp to that illuminates only when the brake fluid level is low.
As such, these vehicles do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 122a, “Motorcycle Brake Systems.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
