What’s wrong with it?
The leaking oil may soak into the thermal blanket covering the exhaust, which when combined with heat from exhaust, may result in an increased risk of fire.
Terex South Dakota, Inc.
(Terex) is recalling certain model year 2009-2013 LT38, LT40, LTM40, NT29, TL37, HR40, L13i, and TPL40 aerial devices manufactured on 2009-2013 Ford F-350, F-450, or F-550 Super Duty chassis with a 6.8L engine, and equipped with certain Muncie Power Products PTO Assemblies.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
