Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
If the tires are filled to the air pressure indicated on the current label, there is an increased risk of a tire blowout which may result in a crash.
Viking RV, LLC (Viking) is recalling certain model year 2014 Viking Epic 1706LS and Coachmen Sport 806LS recreational trailers manufactured January 16, 2014, through May 28, 2014.
The affected vehicles incorrectly list the recommended tire air pressure as 90PSI instead of 60PSI on the Federal Certification Tag and Tire Information Tag.
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Number 119, “New Pneumatic Tires for Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
