What’s wrong with it?
If the cable does not clear the wheel chair lift it may contact the power lug and if it does not have a nonconductive cover, or it has an improperly installed non-conductive cover, then a short circuit may occur that could result in a fire.
Glaval Bus (Glaval) is recalling certain model year 2007-2012 Universal, Primetime, Sport, Concorde, Titan, Titan II, Entourage and Apollo transit buses manufactured January 1, 2007, through December 3, 2012, and equipped with certain Ricon S-series and K-series wheelchair lifts, with an optional armored pendant cable.
The armored cable may be positioned such that it does not clear the wheelchair lift.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
