What’s wrong with it?
Ejection of the front brake pads could lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Westward Industries Ltd.
(Westward) is recalling certain model year 2013 Go-4 vehicles manufactured June 2013 through December 2013, and equipped with 20V front calipers.
Due to a gap between the front brake caliper and the non-vented brake rotor, as the front brake pads become worn, they may be ejected resulting in a reduction of braking performance.

What should you do?
Westward will notify owners, and dealers will replace the thin non-vented rotors with thicker vented rotors to reduce the gap between the caliper and rotor, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Westward customer service at 1-204-594-4100.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
