Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
The lower wattage bulbs may decrease the visibility of the motorhome and thus increase the risk of a crash.
Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain model year 2014 Libero motorhomes, model L24CB, manufactured November 2013 through February 2014, and model year 2014 Serenity motorhomes, model S24CB, manufactured September 2013 through February 2014.
The affected vehicles were built with taillight clearance lights with lower wattage bulbs.
As such, the vehicles do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
