What’s wrong with it?
An incorrect label may result in owners attempting to replace the tires with the wrong size or fill the tires to the wrong tire pressure, which may increase the risk of tire failure and a crash.
Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain model year 2014 Landmark Grand Canyon, Key Largo, Monterey, San Antonio, and Savannah fifth wheel travel trailers manufactured September 14, 2013, through January 17, 2014, and equipped with optional 17.5” wheels.
The affected trailers were manufactured with incorrect information printed on the Federal Certification Label regarding the wheel specification.
As such, the trailers do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119 “New Pneumatic Tires for Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
