What’s wrong with it?
The intermittent signal may allow the aerial platform to be tilted more than below the horizontal plane which could allow the platform to strike nearby objects or people increasing the risk of injury or property damage.
Spartan is recalling certain model year 2005-2011 RMP 100 and 2008-2010 MMP 100 aerial vehicle apparatus.
These vehicles are equipped with a single platform inclinometer that may provide an intermittent signal allowing the platform to be tilted more than below the horizontal plane.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
