Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
Owners relying on the information contained in the label may install incorrect replacement tires, increasing the risk of personal injury.
Triumph Motorcycles (Triumph) is recalling certain model year 2013 Trophy motorcycles manufactured from September 5, 2012, through November 29, 2012.
These motorcycles were produced with a label bearing incorrect tire data which fails to conform to the labeling requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120, “Tire Selection and Rims for Motor Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars,” and they fail to comply with the certification requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
