What’s wrong with it?
Cracked fuel pipes or loose fuel pipe flare nuts may leak fuel. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a vehicle fire.
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain model year 2007 Sterling 360 trucks manufactured from January 25, 2006, through January 22, 2007; and equipped with an EPA04 4M50 engine.
The fuel lines may crack due to an improper manufacturing process.
Additionally, the fuel pipe flare nuts may have been insufficiently tightened.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
