What’s wrong with it?
Failure of the vehicles to meet one or more required safety standards may increase the risk of a crash or personal injury.

These vehicles may fail to comply with one or more of the following: FMVSS No. 101, “Controls and Displays;” FMVSS No. 103, “Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems;” FMVSS No. 104, “Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems;” FMVSS No. 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment;” FMVSS No. 206, “Door Locks and Door Retention Components;” and 49 CFR Part 567 “Certification.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
