What’s wrong with it?
TOWING A VEHICLE WITH THE AXLES LOADED BEYOND THE SPECIFIED WEIGHT RATING MAY RESULT IN AXLE FAILURE LEADING TO POOR VEHICLE HANDLING AND INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.
HEARTLAND HAS NOTIFIED NHTSA OF A NONCOMPLIANCE ON CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 TRAIL RUNNER AND NORTH COUNTRY TRAVEL TRAILERS FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF PART 567, “CERTIFICATION.” THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION LABEL DOES NOT CONTAIN THE CORRECT GROSS AXLE WEIGHT RATING (GAWR) INFORMATION.
THE LABEL STATES THE GAWR FOR EACH AXLE TO BE 5,200 LBS WHEN THE ACTUAL GAWR IS 5,080 LBS.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
