What’s wrong with it?
OVER INFLATED TIRES COULD CAUSE OR CONTRIBUTE TO PREMATURE TIRE FAILURE; POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A SUDDEN BLOWOUT OR OTHER FAILURE WHICH COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE UNIT INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
MONACO IS RECALLING 22 MY 2009 ALUMASCAPE FIFTH WHEEL, ALUMASCAPE SUITE AND PRESIDENTIAL TRAVEL TRAILERS.
THESE TRAILERS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 120, “TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS.” WHEN TIRES WERE CHANGED ON THESE VEHICLES, THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION LABEL WAS PRINTED WITH INCORRECT INFORMATION.
THE TIRE INFLATION IS LISTED AS 80 PSI WHEN THE CORRECT PRESSURE SHOULD BE 65 PSI.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
