What’s wrong with it?
THIS NONCOMPLIANCE COULD LEAD TO PREMATURE TIRE WEAR AND POTENTIALLY A TIRE FAILURE IF THE TIRES ARE INFLATED TO THE MAXIMUM INFLATION PRESSURE. SUCH A TIRE FAILURE COULD RESULT IN THE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 120, ‘TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS.’ THE FEDERAL TIRE LABELS INCORRECTLY STATE THE COLD TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE FOR THE TOYO 12R22.5 REAR TIRES.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
