What’s wrong with it?
ONCOMING TRAFFIC MAY EXPERIENCE HIGHER THAN NORMAL AMOUNT OF GLARE WHICH COULD AFFECT DRIVER’S VISION, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
CERTAIN UMNITZA REPLACEABLE LIGHTING CAPSULES BRANDED AS PROLUMEN HID KITS, P/NOS H1, H3, H4, 9006, AND 9007.
THE REPLACEMENT KITS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
