The short answer

Announced by CPSC on Feb 28, 2008. Copied from CPSC on Oct 19, 2026.

Every line below is in CPSC’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

The cribs fail to meet the federal safety standards for cribs. The four support brackets on the mattress support spring are too long. The brackets prevent the spring from lowering to the full 26-inch minimum height in its lowest position, allowing children inside to crawl over the railing, posing a fall hazard.

What should you do?

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs. Destroy and discard the cribs. The firm is no longer in business. A remedy is not available.
