All 401 in one list

401 private schools in 132 cities and towns. From the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE): Non-Public School Enrollment.

What Massachusetts’s list covers

The non-public schools that reported their October enrollment to Massachusetts’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for the newest school year. Not every school reports every year (yearly counts swing from about 250 to 400), so one missing may still be open; a school in a regional district is placed by its district, not its town. NCES’s survey counted 661 private schools in Massachusetts in 2021-22.
